Frequently asked questions

A few things you may want to know.

Clear answers can make the first step feel more manageable.

Who do you work with?

I primarily work with young adult women and first-generation young adults navigating anxiety, overthinking, relationships, family pressure, boundaries, identity, and major life transitions.

Where are you based, and where can I attend sessions?

I’m based in Miami and serve clients virtually throughout Florida. You must be located in Florida at the time of each session.

Are sessions virtual?

Yes. I provide virtual therapy to clients located in Florida at the time of session.

Do you provide therapy in Spanish?

I speak Spanish, but I currently conduct therapy sessions in English rather than offering fully Spanish-language therapy.

Do I need to know exactly what I want to work on?

No. It is enough to know that something does not feel sustainable. We can clarify your goals together.

What happens during the consultation?

The free 15-minute consultation is a brief conversation about what brings you to therapy, what you are looking for, practical questions, and whether working together may be a good fit. It is not a therapy session.

How long are appointments?

Individual therapy appointments are scheduled in a 60-minute block and include approximately 55 minutes of clinical session time.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes. I accept several insurance plans. Coverage and client responsibility vary, so benefits should be verified before starting.

What should I confirm before beginning?

You are welcome to ask about current availability, response time, cancellation terms, accepted payment methods, and whether out-of-network documentation is available for your situation. I can confirm the current details before you schedule.

Is email appropriate for urgent concerns?

No. Email is not monitored as a crisis service. If you are in immediate danger, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. Call or text 988 for immediate mental health support.
